Or dinner at:
(1) We had breakfast, lunch and dinner here and we liked everything we tried. For dinner I can recommend the Brussel sprouts and wild boar bacon for starters and the salmon (served with delicious vanilla potato puree) as a main dish.
(2) Service at the restaurant was extremely slow and the portion sizes were disappointing for the price. Brussels sprouts and Wild Boar bacon was pretty tasty though. Mussels were bland.

At low tide you can go around to the left and see the caves and then the unbelievable beach of logs. There are always bald-headed eagles there and it's a great place.

(1) Visiting Kalaloch and Ruby Beachhttp://www.nps.gov/olym/planyourvisit/visiting-kalaloch-and-ruby-beach.htm
Recreation:
Hiking the southern coast of the Olympic Peninsula provides some amazing
sights of the pristine beaches and marine wildlife. North of Ruby Beach, the Hoh
River creates a natural boundary.
Kalaloch is a great place for bird watching. Western gulls, bald eagles, and other coastal birds can be spotted nesting and feeding along the southern coast.
When hiking the coast, always check the tides (current charts available at the Kalaloch Information Station). Certain areas may become impassable during high tides and overland trails must be used.
Nearby Areas:
To the north, the
Hoh Rain Forest is about a 45-minute drive from Kalaloch. To the south,
Queets and the
Quinault are only 30 miles away. Make sure to consult the
Getting Around page for a table of the different mileages between park
destinations.

Rocky beaches, giant drift logs, pounding waves and views of offshore islands known as 'seastacks' are features that define Rialto Beach.
Just inland is the Mora area, characterized by towering trees, lush undergrowth and the omnipresent roar of the Pacific Ocean in the background.
Rialto Beach is accessible by Mora Road, off of La Push Road. Rialto Beach is about 36 miles southwest of Lake Crescent, and about 75 miles from Port Angeles (directions).
A general map and information regarding facilities, picnic areas, camping, and regulations can be found on the park's Mora brochure (pdf).
Recreation:
Hole-in-the-Wall is a sea-carved arch about 1.5 mile north of Rialto Beach,
within the Olympic wilderness.
The Quillayute River blocks access from Rialto Beach to First, Second, and Third Beaches. First Beach is part of the Quileute Indian Reservation (Quileute Indian Nation); Second and Third Beaches just to the south are located within Olympic National Park and are part of the Olympic Wilderness Coast.
Always check the tides! It's possible to get stranded when certain areas of the coast become impassable when high tide rolls in.

A note on using GPS: Many visitors now use GPS (Global Positioning System) units to help them navigate while driving. However, the street address for Mount Rainier National Park (55210 238th Avenue East) leads to the Mount Rainier Administration Building in Ashford, Washington, NOT to the Nisqually entrance of the park. To reach the Nisqually entrance (west to Longmire) using GPS use the address 39000 State Route 706 E, Ashford, WA 98304. This will take you on SR 706 east past the Administration Building to the Nisqually Entrance. It is recommended that visitors refer to road maps in addition to using GPS units when driving to the park.
