There is a small lake by the airport hotel, Calgary Airport North Hampton Inn.
Magpie. RWBBs, m & f.
4 ducks (2 pairs?). Duck with red head. Duck landing on the water showing yellow
patch left & right.
Bluets, blue males (2 kinds perhaps) and brown female.

A lot of mosquitoes.

Banff National Park.

Leaving Banff, Visiting Lake Louise and Arrived at Jasper. Excellent dinner at
the hotel restaurant. Tonquin Inn.

Jasper Nat Park - Maligne Lake (wiki) & Canyon.
Hiking, 2:15-4:15pm
Tons of grasshoppers. One sparrow catches one (have photo).
A lot of Ravens, magpies too. Juvenile (fledgling) Ravens begging for food;
parent flying away leaving the baby alone when it sees us. Ravens not afraid
of people.
